The call for the programme RES+ No. 1/2025 – Photovoltaic power plants up to 5 MWp with self-consumption has been announced within the framework of the EU Modernisation Fund.
Who can apply for the subsidy?
- Public and non-profit sector: municipalities, regions, city districts, contributory organisations, universities, public research institutions, churches, state enterprises, foundations, associations, etc.
- Private sector: small, medium and large enterprises, sole traders, agricultural businesses, cooperatives, IT, construction and other industries.
Provided they are also:
a) current or future holders of an electricity generation licence,
b) entities without a licence but with an operational contract with a licensed operator.
What is the subsidy intended for?
- construction of new photovoltaic power plants with an output from 50 kWp to 5 MWp (in Prague already from 10 kWp – the exception applies only to the public and non-profit sector)
- battery storage systems for produced electricity (in combination with PV)
- hydrogen production systems via water electrolysis (in combination with PV)
What will we handle for you?
Apart from the subsidy itself, we will also take care of all other paperwork and formalities, including:
- submitting the subsidy application
- project documentation
- application for connection to the distribution network
- energy assessment
- preparation for PV and battery storage installation
- communication with authorities (including administration)

Applications that meet the criteria required by the call and programme but whose ranking exceeds the available allocation will be placed into a so-called application reserve. The size of this reserve is a maximum of 20% of the total allocation of the call.
