Receive support of up to 60% of the total project implementation costs

The State Environmental Fund of the Czech Republic will launch, from 1 July 2025, a new subsidy programme providing financial support for the construction of photovoltaic power plants on public buildings with an installed capacity of up to 1 MWp (inclusive).

The call for the programme RES+ No. 3/2025 – Photovoltaic Power Plants on Public Buildings has been announced under the European Union’s Modernisation Fund.

Who can apply for the subsidy?

  • Municipalities in the Czech Republic with a maximum of 3,000 inhabitants (as of 1 January 2025 according to the Czech Statistical Office)

What is the subsidy intended for?

  • PV projects with one or more grid connection points, installed on buildings or other infrastructure (e.g., carports)
  • battery storage systems for the generated electricity
  • necessary investments in the renovation of roof structures where the PV system will be installed
  • modernisation of electrical installations in buildings with newly installed PV
  • procurement of EMS, including control software for optimising production and consumption of generated energy (incl. project preparation, supervision, and HSE)

What will we handle for you?

In addition to the subsidy application itself, we will also take care of all the paperwork and formalities. Among other things:

  • submission of the subsidy application
  • project documentation
  • application for connection to the distribution grid
  • energy assessment
  • preparation for the implementation of the PV system and battery storage
  • communication with authorities (including administration)
  • and more.

Applications that meet the criteria required by the call and the program but whose ranking exceeds the available allocation of the call will be placed in a so-called reserve list. The size of the reserve list is a maximum of 20% of the total allocation of the call.
